Haskell Gossett, RPh, the Director of Pharmacies, has been associated with Bayside Hospital since 1994. Haskell graduated from the University of Texas of Pharmacy in 1958 and was licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy during that same year. Haskell owned a pharmacy in Liberty from 1961 until 1978 when he then began working both in retail and hospital pharmacy. Haskell's greatest enjoyment in his job is the employees and customers he serves. He is on a first name basis with those he serves as they have become his extended family. Haskell and his wife have been married for over 50 years and reside in Liberty, Texas.

As you would suspect, Bayside’s Pharmacy department is in charge of dispensing all the many medications our doctor’s and nurses use to care for our patients. They not only dispense those medications, but also monitor those medications for drug interactions and potential side effects as well. And, as it should come as no surprise to anyone that the cost of drugs can be astronomical, our Pharmacy staff, working in collaboration with our Medical Staff, have developed a formulary for Bayside that covers the bases, while controlling the cost for the organization, and the patient.
